Use our marks well.

Our logo, colours, and type — and the rules that keep them recognisable: don't redraw it, don't recolour it, give it room, and write the name in lowercase.

Logo

The display logotype for covers and banners, the wordmark wherever the brand is simply named, the icon anywhere small.

Display logotype

The grid-built version, for covers, banners, and anywhere it can be large.

Display logotype with tagline

The same, carrying “Open Source Memory Platform for Agents”. For title slides and covers.

Icon

The waveform mark alone — favicons, avatars, app tiles, anywhere small.

Wordmark

The name set in our own letterforms. The default wherever the brand is named.

The kit also holds panel and cut-out versions of each mark, round and square icon tiles, social cover templates, slide and document templates, and merch artwork. Ask and we'll send the lot.

Colour

Three colours carry the brand. Lavender is the one people recognise; black and off-white are what let it do the work.

Typography

One typeface, two weights. TWK Lausanne is commercially licensed, so we can't hand out the files — if you're making something for us and don't have them, write to us and we'll sort it out.

Using the marks

Keep clear space

Leave at least the height of the “c” in the wordmark on every side. Nothing — text, borders, other logos — inside that margin.

Mind the minimum size

The lockup stays legible down to 120px wide on screen and 25mm in print. Below that, use the icon on its own.

Don't recolour

Use the three supplied colours: black, lavender, off-white. No gradients of your own, no other brand colours, no outlines or drop shadows.

Don't redraw or stretch

Scale proportionally. Don't rebuild the mark, change the letter spacing, rotate it, or set the wordmark in a different typeface.

Trademarks

You're welcome to use them to refer to cognee — in an article, a talk, a comparison, an integration listing — as long as it's clear you aren't us and doesn't suggest we endorse what you've built. Please don't put them in your own product name, logo, or domain.

Not sure whether your case is fine? Ask us first — info@cognee.ai. We answer quickly and we'd rather say yes than find out later.
